Introducing NBBA's New Training Program and our New Director of Strength & Conditioning
The NBBA is please to introduce several new strength, conditioning, and speed programs, spearheaded by our new Director of Strength & Conditioning, Audie Balue.





NBBA Strength & Speed Program
The NBBA Strength and Speed program provides athletes the essential steps to become better athletes through sport specific strength and conditioning. Programs will focus on increasing the athletes overall strength, speed and agility. By incorporating strength movements, plyometrics and conditioning drills, athletes will move more efficiently and effectively on the basketball court.

Number of Athletes: Limited to 8 athletes per session

Location: 50 Lisbon St. Unit #5, San Rafael, CA 94901

MARIN
AGES: For Boys & Girls Ages 7 and Up
SESSIONS: After School Sessions: May 24 - June 9
Summer Sessions: June 13 - August 11
High School Girls Sessions: June 13 - August 11

Summer Strength & Skills Program
A 90 minute program that focuses on both Strength & Conditioning and Basketball Skills Training. The program will include a 45 minute Strength & Conditioning segment and a 45 minute Basketball Skills Training segment.

Strength & Conditioning Focus: Increasing the athletes overall strength, speed and agility. By incorporating strength movements, plyometrics and conditioning drills, athletes will move more efficiently and effectively on the basketball court.

Basketball Skills Training Focus: The sessions are not limited to, but focus on these four areas: Form, Shooting, Ballhandling, and Offensive Skills

NBBA Individual & Group Training
The NBBA Individual and Group Training program provides athletes the essential steps to become a better and more refined basketball player through skill and fundamental work.

Number of Athletes: Limited to 4-5 athletes per session

Location: 50 Lisbon St. Unit #5, San Rafael, CA 94901

MARIN
SESSIONS: All sessions are 60 minutes:
  • Monday – Friday: 3:00pm – 8:00pm
  • Saturdays: 8:00am – 12:00pm
  • Sundays: By Appointment Only

Introducing Audie Balue
NBBA Director of Strength & Conditioning

Growing up in Colorado, Audie played lacrosse, ran cross-country and swam at Monarch High School. She lettered all four years on varsity in all three sports. After graduating from Monarch, she attended Boise State University for her undergrad and ran cross-country and track, while also playing club lacrosse. Audie graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science and Fitness Evaluation with a Minor in Psychology. She served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Boise State Men's Club Lacrosse team during her senior year.

Upon graduation from Boise State, Audie moved to Savannah, Georgia to complete her Masters of Science in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in Strength and Conditioning from Armstrong State University. She worked as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Savannah College of Art and Design's (SCAD) Men's Lacrosse team, as well as the Assistant Strength Coach at Anderson Cohen Weight Lifting. At Anderson Cohen, she also assisted with the Armstrong State University's Women's Volleyball team.

After graduating from Armstrong State, she moved to San Mateo, CA to intern at Sparta Science, a top tier strength and conditioning facility for high school, college and professional athletes. During her time there she worked with Santa Clara University's Women's Volleyball team. From Sparta, she was hired to work with Dominican University Women's Basketball and Men's Lacrosse teams. She also worked as a Master Trainer at 24 Hour Fitness in Larkspur.

Audie is entering her first year with North Bay Basketball Academy as the Director of Strength and Condition. She also serves as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for Dominican and is assisting the Varsity Girl's Lacrosse team at Marin Catholic High School. The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) recognizes her as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

  • Masters of Science in Sports Medicine
  • Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Fitness Evaluation
